This course will set you up for a successful career working in barns at any level of facility. Some barns are high profile-high competition, some are high training-high volume, and some are just quiet places where horses thrive. Each of these facilities requires similar management and care of the horses to keep the facility running. 

The equine industry places huge value on the position of barn manager, often the horses best friend, and the right hand of any trainer/owner. This position requires attention to detail, planning, routine, and hard work. But smart work and knowing what to do to set up a good set of systems to manage a facility at any level is necessary to keep yourself and your barns running smoothly. 

This course was designed by senior barn managers, and people who are run facilities from lesson barns, to breeding barns, to racing operations. This course addresses the basic universal knowledge needed to step in to a position and learn the ropes to making the barn and horses run smoothly. 

This course is an online, self-paced course that includes knowledge checks, worksheets, and a final exam to prove your knowledge and understanding before you are granted the title of Certified Barn Manager and are ready to start applying for your next career position.
